DENVER, CO – On Friday, November 19th, Green For All, in partnership with the University of Phoenix, will host a free, day-long Business Academy focused on building the capacity of emerging clean energy entrepreneurs in Denver. The Business Academy will equip entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and networking opportunities they need to scale their operations and create more green jobs.

"Green For All is committed to building an inclusive green economy," says Cecilia Estolano, Chief Strategist on State & Local Initiatives at Green For All. "Colorado brings the two most important ingredients for green business: a business community that celebrates innovation, and cutting edge research and entrepreneurship on clean energy."

The Academy will provide a realistic overview of the opportunities that exist within the region’s green business ecosystem, and identify the policies, programs, capital providers, and potential partners that together support the growth of the green economy.

"Colorado has supported some of the strongest green business organizations and entrepreneurs since the beginning, such as the Rocky Mountain Institute and National Renewable Energy Laboratory," says Carol Tombari, Manager of Stakeholder Initiatives at National Renewable Energy Laboratory, and keynote speaker for the Denver Business Academy. "Colorado green business owners have the potential to lead the country in innovation."

Speakers at the event will include successful CEOs, capital providers, government officials, lenders, policymakers, public and private buyers, and other business support agencies, all of whom will share their insights on green business within their community.

"The Green For All Denver Business Academy is the place to be if you want to learn how to grow your green business, find investors and meet with successful entrepreneurs," says Stephen Miller, President/CEO of CleanLaunch.

Media is welcome to attend any portion of the event, which is free to the public. To RSVP go to www.greenforall.org/bizacademy.
