Take action: Make oil executives answer your questions.

While you and I pay skyrocketing prices at the gas pump, oil companies are laughing all the way to the bank. The “big five” — ExxonMobil, BP, Chevron, Shell and ConocoPhillips — made a staggering $32 billion in profit during the first quarter of the year, and they want to keep getting $4 billion dollars in tax breaks. The “big five” — ExxonMobil, BP, Chevron, Shell and ConocoPhillips — made a staggering $32 billion in profit during the first quarter of the year, and they want to keep getting $4 billion dollars in tax breaks.

Oil Companies

I've been receiving your blog via e-mail for a couple of years now. I've agreed with everything you have been saying, but this one is one of my real pet peeves! I believe the oil companies are behind the fact that we don't have any alternative energy other than electrical. I'm for bio fuels...I just know the oil companies have blocked that one for years. Anyway, thank for taking them on. At least we should not have to pay them to rob us!
