GREEN FOR ALL & THE UNIVERSITY OF PHOENIX TEAM UP TO HELP LOCAL BUSINESSES SUCEED IN THE GREEN ECONOMY

Green For All and the University of Phoenix hosted a workshop for Nashville small business owners and entrepreneurs centered on helping them achieve success in the rapidly growing green economy.

Nashville, TN – Today, Green For All and the University of Phoenix hosted a workshop for Nashville small business owners and entrepreneurs centered on helping them achieve success in the rapidly growing green economy.  Speakers discussed topics ranging from funding for green businesses and working with local governments to expanding sustainable resources and networking within the community and the industry as a whole. 

“Nashville has one of the fastest growing green economies in the nation,” said Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins, CEO of Green For All. “It is important that small business owners nationwide are equipped with the tools they need to build their businesses to compete in the green economy.”

Green business leaders, business support organizations, environmental scholars and capital providers were on hand to discuss the tactics essential for creating clean jobs in the rapidly growing green economy.   

Nashville currently ranks 11th out of 100 U.S. communities for job growth within the green economy. Green For All works with cities such as Nashville to help them develop inclusive green economies and become leaders in the clean energy sector.  

This was the eighth green business academy that Green For All has hosted.
