We are proud to be partnering with Trinity United Church of Christ and Faith In Place to host this groundbreaking event. 

DAY 1: Wednesday August 19, 4-9pm: Praise and Worship with Bishop Vashti Mckenzie!
Join AME Bishop Vashti McKenzie, Pastor Otis Moss III and many more for a night of inspiration, spirit, music, fellowship and worship.

Registration and tabling begins at 3 pm. In addition we will be joined by over 20 businesses and organizations ready to help you take action on climate and create real sustainability gains at your church and in your community.

Day 2: Thursday August 20, 10:00am-4:30pm: Summit Action Conference
Our second day will take us from inspiration to action! Join expert-faciliated workshops focused on:

• The Green Movement: Church & Community Leading Together,
• Conquering Green Giants: How to start (and fund) Your Green Projects,
• Sowing Seeds of Hope: Job Opportunities For All Our Citizens,
• Food For Life: Food Justice for All,
• Leaping Forward not Bouncing Back: Adapting to climate disasters.  

We will also be joined by experts from the U.S. Green Building Council to help you identify viable money saving green projects and begin to identify and recruit the team that can help you get it done! (Lunch is served.)

Day 3: Friday August 21, 9am Trinity UCC "Green Tour" and 4pm Jazzapalooza
Join us Friday morning for a tour of diverse and interesting sites that represent the best of Chicago's green efforts. Sites include Center for Neighborhood Technology, Fourth Presbyterian church, Growing Power, Imani Village, Perry Street Farm, and more!  

After the tour, join us for Jazzapalooza, an evening of the best Jazz music that Chicago has to offer! (Gates open at 4pm show starts at 4:30pm)
