You can breathe a sigh of relief. EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson is fighting for our right to breathe clean air, drink clean water and to save American businesses money.
Yesterday, Administrator Lisa Jackson testified before the House Energy and Commerce Committee about their efforts to update the Clean Air Act.
Since 1990, the Clean Air Act reduced US households and businesses utility bills by 10%.
According to a White House blog today: “Despite these pragmatic steps to implement long overdue updates, big polluters are trying to gut the Clean Air Act by asking Congress to carve out special loopholes from air pollution standards.”
Stand with the EPA and fight big polluters.
