Fuel and Energy equity in the Kansas City Metro

Join us to improve environmental, physical, and behavioral health through art, poetry, and advocacy.

Metropolitan Energy Center and Poetry for Personal Power are thrilled to co-host a Green For All #FuelChange watch party!  This watch party is part of a national effort organized by Dream Corps to raise awareness for the health impacts that dirty transportation has in Urban, lower income communities.  Whether you live by busy freeways and highways, have diesel trucks idling through your neighborhood on their way to port, or simply put your child on a school bus every morning, there is a lot you can do to move us all toward a zero-emission future.

The #FuelChange anthem stars artists from Oakland, California who are sharing their stories on how people in their communities, especially children, are suffering from the negative impacts of dirty transportation.

We know that the environment, physical, and behavioral health are all interconnected, which is why we are excited to partner with Serenity Speaks from Poetry For Personal Power to MC and perform poetry at this event!
