Jamez Staples leads the certified minority-owned solar installation and development company, Renewable Energy Partners, to create opportunities for people of color to develop green infrastructure.
He is co-chair of the City of Minneapolis Clean Energy Partnership’s Energy Vision Advisory Committee (EVAC) and sits on the board of Cooperative Energy Futures, a co-op which makes clean energy affordable to low-income communities.Jamez is on the Economic Development Committee of the African American Leadership Forum.
