In 2010, Green For All's Pathway Out of Poverty Community of Practice convened a working group of leaders focused on creating green career pathways for individuals re-entering the workforce after incarceration.

The Green Strategies to Re-Entry working group identified best practices in creating comprehensive training programs that address the increased barriers to entry that individuals transitioning out of incarceration face as they re-enter society. Working group members and Green For All worked to determine the opportunities available in the green economy that can offer formerly incarcerated individuals a trajectory towards reclaiming self-sufficiency.
