Energy Efficiency Survey (Help a Non-Profit)

Posted by Jeff Osowski at October 26. 2009
A great organization, Rubicon National Social Innovations (www.rubiconnational.org), is working to build a business model for a home energy efficiency social enterprise that can employ the graduates of green job training organizations.  Rubicon National would like to help these non-profits develop their own energy efficiency businesses that can:
  • immediately employ their hardest-to-employ graduates,
  • lower energy bills for homeowners,
  • provide a revenue stream for the non-profit,
  • and help reduce our overall carbon footprint
In order to develop this business idea, they need a better idea of who would pay to make their homes more energy efficient, how much they'd be willing to pay, and the best way to reach out to them once the companies are up and running.  As a non-profit they don't have the resources to do a huge market research survey so they're relying on personal networks which is where you all come in.  They're looking for any homeowners to complete a short, 31 question, survey about their needs.

If you have 10 minutes, please take a moment now to complete the quick survey.  Just follow this link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=KepYNsIDPZWIwIH11bM2kw_3d_3d

And if you have any connection to a neighborhood association or a community based organization that you can distribute the survey to, please forward the link to them as well.

Thank you for your time and willingness to answer RNSI's questions.  Your responses will help the graduates of green job training programs, help homeowners reduce their energy bills, and help all of us reduce global warming!
