Thank you all for the great work you do in our communities.

Project Green SEED (Sustainable Energy Economic Development) 

Riverdale, GA.

Our approach for training curriculum development involved two areas, 1.) short term low hanging fruit 3-6 months and 2.) long term career development 2 year certification.  

Short Term curriculum covered life skills, weatherization, HAZMAT training and basic green economy education. In order to be effective all local stakeholders should be involved. (Consider LEED EB certitification as a step towards career development)

 

Long Term curriculum centered on regional energy sector projections for the next 2-10 years. Renewable energy industury growth and policy issues aided in carrear track development (WIA). This information will assist local community college CBO/FBO workshops design the course syllibus.
