WASHINGTON, D.C.—In response to President Obama’s remarks on the Keystone XL pipeline during his speech on his climate change plan, Green for All CEO Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins issued the following statement:

Statement of Green For All CEO Phaedra Ellis-Lamkins

The president's remarks today on the Keystone XL pipeline are deeply encouraging. He'll say no to the pipeline if it proves to not be in America's interest, and it is not. The evidence is clear—the pipeline would contribute to climate change.  Saying yes to Keystone would put the health and safety of our own communities at greater risk. America needs to reject Keystone and instead lean into the president’s plan to invest in the kind of clean energy that will help fight climate change, keep our air and water safe, and create good jobs.
