Chicago, IL - Jumaani Bates is a community advocate for environmental issues in the city of Chicago. Currently, Jumaani holds a position as Economic/ Infrastructure committee chair for the 24th Ward. He has been involved in horticulture and urban agriculture for the past six years, dealing with sustainable sites and its affiliation with high performance buildings, with an additional focus on Work Force Development by providing job training and market consultation to under served communities.
