The Dream Reborn
Join us in Memphis, TN the weekend of April 4 – 6, 2008 for the 40th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s assassination. We’ll not only celebrate his extraordinary life, but also present positive solutions from today's generation of visionary leaders. Special emphasis will be placed on ecological solutions that can heal the Earth while bringing jobs, justice, wealth and health to vulnerable people.

A bullet killed the dreamer, but not the dream. And that dream has continued to grow and evolve over the decades, in the minds and hearts of freedom fighters. It's hard to believe it, but since King's murder, two strong generations have been born and grown into adulthood. April 4th will create a special opportunity for leaders and activists from those generations to come together and accept the full mantle of service and leadership.
Join us April 4 – 6, 2008 for the 40th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s assassination. We’ll not only celebrate his extraordinary life, but also present positive solutions from today's generation of visionary leaders. Special emphasis will be placed on ecological solutions that can heal the Earth while bringing jobs, justice, wealth and health to vulnerable people. In the aftermath of Katrina, in the face of global warming and global war, King would have worked for a peaceful, green economy -- strong enough to lift people out of poverty and restore hope.
