"Protecting Mother Earth 2008" Nevada Conference

Please! How hypocritical that the conference is being held on the Government IRA reservation at Southfork-Te-Moak trustee lands, not to mention on a federally-funded reservation. Why bring the problems of the rest of the world to financially poor Southfork reservation? Southfork can't even solve their own problems, enviromentally or otherwise. And how hypocritical and disgusting that Carrie Dann and the Whiney Shoshone Defiance Project would push their own personal cause and to raise money on an IRA reservation when Carrie Dann already owns land off the reservation. There wouldn't be an issue if Carrie Dann just paid her grazing fees like every other rancher. But what kind of ranch is the Dann Ranch anyways? who's minding the Ranch when Carrie is travelling the world on funds received in the name of the Western Shoshone, of which no one but her and her sideshow benefits from? And also, Julie Fishel isn't even licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada, so why is she involved other than a booking agent for Carrie Dann. How credible can they be? It's sad that your organization would get involved in this self-profitable sideshow.
