Robert also serves as Managing Partner of private equity investment fund Brightpath Capital Partners that focuses on companies that boast both attractive profits and positive social impact through job and wealth creation in disadvantaged communities as well as pollution reduction.
Solar has come into the mainstream right when the science is telling us how critical it is for us to act quickly if we are to forestall the harmful impacts of climate change. Traditionally, change has happened very slowly in energy. Now we simply don’t have time to wait. Policy actions like President Obama’s Clean Power Plan are needed to help transition our economy. The president’s plan will further bolster the solar industry, which has created jobs at a rate ten times higher than employment growth in the overall economy.
